Dance of Bhadarwah on display
The fortnight long Tourism festival in Bhadarwah organised by Bhadarwah
Development Authority (BDA) with active participation of tourism Department
concluded on 25th of June by the Chief Executive of BDA in a simple function
wherein the local SDM was the chief guest. On the occasion mementoes were
presented to various people who played pivotal role in the Festival. Among
the recipients were noted sculptor Inder Manhas who was the event manager of
the Artist Camp and Kulwant Manhas who was the event manager of cultural
programme.
The Festival was formally inaugurated jointly by Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi
Azad and Union Tourism Minister for Tourism, Ambika Soni who had flown to

seemed highly impressed by the scenic beauty of Bhadarwah that compelled her
to publicly admit that she would never imagine that God could create a
beautiful place like Bhadarwah. She announced a hefty economic package for
Bhadarwah to be developed as a tourist destination. “If this place is
developed to its full potential, it can attract tourists from across the
world”. The Chief Minister who happens to be the son of the soil and local
MLA also made a resolve to give full exposure to the ‘little paradise’ and
expressed hope that within a short span of time people across the country
will start knowing about Bhadarwah for its natural beauty. “When Bhadarwah
will be connected with rest of the country by a net work of roads people
will come to Kashmir via Bhadarwah-Kishtwar-Sinthon Road and make ....
