Cover story Bhaderwah Gets Maiden Exposure!

The fortnight long Tourism festival in Bhadarwah organised by Bhadarwah Development Authority (BDA) with active participation of tourism Department concluded on 25th of June by the Chief Executive of BDA in a simple function wherein the local SDM was the chief guest. On the occasion mementoes were presented to various people who played pivotal role in the Festival. Among the recipients were noted sculptor Inder Manhas who was the event manager of the Artist Camp and Kulwant Manhas who was the event manager of cultural programme.   

The Festival was formally inaugurated jointly by Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Union Tourism Minister for Tourism, Ambika Soni who had flown to the Chota Kashmir all the way from Delhi. Though her stay was brief, yet she made its best use by visiting sprawling meadows like Seoj and Jai. She seemed highly impressed by the scenic beauty of Bhadarwah that compelled her to publicly admit that she would never imagine that God could create a beautiful place like Bhadarwah. She announced a hefty economic package for Bhadarwah to be developed as a tourist destination. “If this place is developed to its full potential, it can attract tourists from across the world”. The Chief Minister who happens to be the son of the soil and local MLA also made a resolve to give full exposure to the ‘little paradise’ and expressed hope that within a short span of time people across the country will start knowing about Bhadarwah for its natural beauty. “When Bhadarwah will be connected with rest of the country by a net work of roads people will come to Kashmir via Bhadarwah-Kishtwar-Sinthon Road and make ....FULL STORY
